Your therapist will advise on which colour to use for best results. Please note that we are unable to make your eye lashes lighter than the natural colour.

Important: A patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to tinting to ensure no sensitivity to the product exists.

Millions of people regularly color their hair. Coloring your hair is the quickest and most spectacular way to change your look and beauty.

Healthy, color treated hair feels and looks great. Different coloring methods suit different hair styles. The most basic rule of hair coloring is to have your hair look as natural as possible.

The best advice you can get is to stay within two shades of your natural color. Color should compliment your skin tone and eye color. Make sure you have your hair in the best possible condition before coloring.

Perms work best on hair that is not colored. Also, the thicker your hair, the better the perm will take. Very fine hair is the worst hair to perm. It needs the minimum amount of perming solution and processing time. Very straight, coarse hair is often resistant to perms.

Whether or not a perm will take depends on three factors:

1. the type of the hair

2. its past history of chemical treatments and

3. the skill of the stylist

You should never perm your own hair as this is a delicate job. If you do you run the risk of losing hair or damaging your hair shaft. In expert hands, perming can create wonderful effects. Stylist will need one to two hours to perm your hair. Perm lasts between 2-6 months.

A pedicure can help prevent nail diseases and nail disorders. Pedicures are not just limited to nails; usually dead skin cells on the bottom of feet are rubbed off using a rough stone called a pumice stone.

Manicure is a cosmetic beauty treatment for the fingernails and hands performed either at home or in a nail salon by a professional nail technician. A manicure treatment isn’t necessarily a treatment for the natural nails but also for the hands. A manicure consists of filing, shaping of the free edge, cuticle treatments with massage and the application of polish.

Waxing is a temporary method of hair removal, which removes the hair from the root. New hairs will not grow back in the previously waxed area for up to three to eight weeks. Almost any area of the body can be waxed, including eyebrows, face, bikini area, legs, arms, back, abdomen and feet.

Waxing is accomplished by spreading a wax combination thinly over the skin. A cloth or paper strip is then pressed on the top and ripped off with a quick movement against the direction of hair growth. This removes the wax along with the hair and dead skin cells, leaving the skin smooth.

New hair growth in waxed areas is soft and fine, not sharp and coarse like shaved hair. After repeated waxing, hair regrowth is less frequent and eventually the hair may never regrow.

Exfoliation between treatments is often recommended to prevent ingrown hairs which may occur as the hair regrows.

There are many different types of wax that claim to be more effective, or less painful and often the skills of the individual therapist play a factor in the level of discomfort that you will experience so it is important to go to an experienced therapist particularly for the more sensitive areas like the bikini area.

Treatments can last between 15 and 60 minutes depending on the area(s) to be waxed.

All of the basic waxing treatments along with a selection specialist waxing treatments are available at the salon.

Prior to the treatment – the therapist will cleanse the area using a specially formulated pre-cleansing lotion. The therapist will then apply a high quality cream or warm wax and remove the unwanted hair. You should ensure that the hair to be waxed is a minimum of around 0.75cm – 1cm so that the wax will take to the hair effectively. This is normally around 2 weeks post-shaving growth for most ladies or 4-6 weeks post waxing.

Once the waxing has been completed, a soothing tea tree lotion can be applied to soothe and help the skin recover from the waxing treatment.

By using a piece of thread, hair can be removed swiftly yet meticulously from the most delicate areas of the face. Facial threading is the best alternative to waxing and tweezing, especially for sensitive skin. Unlike waxing, threading does not remove a layer of skin, which may cause sun damage. Threading is by far the least invasive method of facial hair removal, leaving the skin clean and smooth.
